Programs Offered

  • Life skills training equips adolescents with the practical skills and knowledge needed to navigate daily life and achieve greater independence. This program covers a wide range of life skills, including time management, budgeting, household management, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and basic first aid. By mastering these skills, participants gain confidence and autonomy in managing their daily activities and responsibilities.
  • Resilience skills training focuses on helping adolescents develop the ability to bounce back from adversity and thrive in the face of challenges. This program teaches resilience-building techniques such as stress management, problem-solving, positive thinking, self-regulation, and seeking support. By strengthening their resilience, participants become better equipped to cope with life's ups and downs and adapt to change more effectively.
  • Communication skills training focuses on enhancing adolescents' ability to express themselves effectively and communicate with others in a clear, assertive, and respectful manner. This program covers verbal and non-verbal communication skills, active listening, expressing emotions constructively, giving and receiving feedback, and conflict resolution. By improving their communication skills, participants can build stronger relationships, resolve conflicts more effectively, and navigate social interactions with confidence.
  • Coping skills training teaches adolescents healthy strategies for managing stress, emotions, and challenging situations in positive and constructive ways. This program introduces participants to a variety of coping techniques, such as relaxation exercises, mindfulness practices, problem-solving strategies, and seeking social support. By developing effective coping skills, participants can better manage stress, reduce negative emotions, and maintain their well-being in the face of adversity.

Goal setting involves helping adolescents identify and set realistic and achievable goals for themselves in various areas of their lives, such as academics, personal development, relationships, and career aspirations. This program teaches participants how to set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound), create action plans, track progress, and overcome obstacles. By setting and working towards meaningful goals, participants can enhance their motivation, focus, and sense of accomplishment

  • Behavior management training focuses on helping adolescents develop positive behaviors and learn to regulate their emotions and impulses effectively. This program teaches techniques for identifying triggers, understanding consequences, practicing self-control, and making healthier choices. By learning behavior management strategies, participants can improve their self-discipline, reduce problematic behaviors, and build healthier habits.
  • Counseling sessions provide adolescents with a safe and confidential space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with a trained counselor. These sessions may focus on addressing specific issues or concerns, such as mental health challenges, trauma, family conflicts, relationship issues, or personal development goals. Through counseling, participants receive emotional support, gain insight into their challenges, and develop coping strategies to improve their well-being and achieve their goals.

Aid for Youths Dealing with

  • This program provides specialized support and interventions for adolescents who have experienced traumatic events in their lives. Trauma-informed care approaches are used to address the impact of past trauma on mental health, behavior, and overall well-being. The program may include trauma-focused therapy, psychoeducation, coping skills training, and support groups to help participants process their experiences, reduce symptoms of trauma, and promote healing and resilience.
  • The Mental Health Issues program offers comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for adolescents experiencing a range of mental health disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and others. Treatment modalities may include individual therapy, medication management, group therapy, psychoeducation, and support services tailored to the specific needs of each participant. The goal is to provide holistic care and support to improve mental health outcomes and enhance overall well-being.
  • This program focuses on providing support and interventions for adolescents who engage in non-suicidal self-injury behaviors, such as cutting, burning, or self-hitting. The program aims to understand the underlying reasons for these behaviors, develop alternative coping strategies, and provide therapeutic interventions to address emotional distress and promote healthier ways of coping. Participants receive individualized support, counseling, skill-building activities, and relapse prevention strategies to reduce self-injury and improve emotional regulation.
  • The Developmental Disorders program offers specialized support for adolescents with developmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, and learning disabilities. The program focuses on addressing the unique needs and challenges of individuals with developmental disorders, including social skills deficits, communication difficulties, sensory sensitivities, and adaptive functioning impairments. Interventions may include behavior therapy, social skills training, sensory integration therapy, and educational support services to enhance functioning and promote independence.
  • The Anxiety Disorders program provides evidence-based interventions for adolescents experiencing various anxiety disorders, such as generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and phobias.   • The ADHD program offers comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for adolescents with ADHD, including attention difficulties, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Treatment modalities may include medication management, behavioral therapy, parent training, and academic accommodations to address symptoms and functional impairments associated with ADHD. The program focuses on improving attention, impulse control, organization, and time management skills to support academic success, social functioning, and overall well-being.
